About the Role

This candidate is responsible for:

  • Leading end-to-end project or change request cycles, from business engagement to implementation and documentation.
  • Managing project progress, adapt work as required, and ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Coordinating stakeholders from various departments and countries to ensure deliverables are achieved.
  • Optimising and improving processes and approaches as needed.

This candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in project management, including system integration and solution design.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to proactively mitigate risks and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define solutions and implementation requirements.
  • Prioritise requirements, define scope and dependencies, ensuring timely delivery within available resources.
  • Manage project deliverables including implementation plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Lead vendor selection processes and manage vendor deliverables effectively.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to ensure on-time and quality delivery.
  • Drive pilot and release strategies, managing each release for seamless go-live.
  • Proactively manage requirements to decrease future support requests.
  • Anticipate and resolve problems to maintain progress.
  • Take ownership of issue resolution and ensure timely deployment of systems and networks.
  • Accountable for on-time delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

What We Are Looking For In A Candidate:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage geographically distributed teams in multi-vendor environments.
  • Strong project management skills, adept at handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative and strategic thinker, with the ability to implement innovative solutions and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in development with Azure, ASP.NET & Microsoft SQL Server platform, coupled with hands-on IT project management experience.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in Software Development Lifecycle, particularly Agile & Incremental methodologies.
  • Experience in developing cloud-aware application design is advantageous.
  • Strong goal-setting and task-prioritisation abilities.
  • Collaborative approach, able to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Innovative mindset, offering fresh ideas and exceeding expectations.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, coupled with strong analytical and interpersonal abilities.
  • Team player and team builder, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Proficiency in leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Good command of English (verbal and written).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certified, with proficiency in Mandarin as an added advantage.
